I've been going at this for over a year now! It's incredible to think about! Though you can certainly tell what months I've devoted the time, and what months I haven't (I won't even show my December earnings...) but with January comes fresh starts, and I'm devoting my time and efforts to earning at LEAST $300/month. That's not a heck of a lot, since in the past I've earned much much more than this, but with working a full time 9-6 job, plus having 2 children, and going to school part time at night --- well I think this is a realistic goal. The $300 a month could quickly eliminate the little debt we have left, and I can't wait!

I have been slacking majorly with my online earnings. One thing that you must be aware of when commiting to earning money online, is that though it may not be a full time job to get full time earnings, work is still involved, and with no work whatsoever, that means no pay.

October Earnings Follow Up

I didn't earn quite what I wanted to for October, however I've been extremly busy with school and photoshoots lately because of the fall weather, thus I will make an excuse for myself. Budget Matter...

In addition to earning money to pay off bills faster, I am now trying to look into ways I can cut back on spending, better budget, decrease interest rates, pay off highest interest rates first, etc.

Of course, one of my much needed areas to focus on is my food budget. My grocery shopping isn't too bad,because I usually shop with a list, coupons, at specific sales/stores, etc. BUT I LOVE ME SOME DISGUSTING JUNKY FAST FOOD. And not only am I clogging my arteries everytime I grab a french fry, I'm also spending TONS of unbugeted money that could be going towards debt. So that simply must stop. Completely. Perhaps once I prove to myself that I can get past this "addiction" I can go back and add it as an occasional luxery, but in the mean time it must be 100% eliminated.

As well, I need to specifically figure out what all of my interest rates are, and start better focusing on getting large bills paid off, rather than just paying minimums on everything.

Here's to creating a great, believable & maintable budget - as well as to getting out of debt ASAP!

7 Random Things About Me

I was tagged by Working For Financial Freedom to share 7 random things about myself, and seeing as how I hate to be a faceless person with my site I am up for the challenge.

1. I moved to Utah when I was 18 (from growing up in Maryland), to follow an LDS missionary who ended up being gay. Ha. :/ (But, Utah is gorgeous, and I met my amazing husband!! Though let me tell you about how anxious I am to move far away from here...)

2. I am a portrait photographer!

3. I absolutely love Acapella music. Yes, I'm a big dork, but College Acapella groups are what I listen to a majority of the time when I am working! (And no, I can not sing at all...)

4. I want to eventually get my PhD in Sociology and do research and/or teach at an University level.

5. Everyone knows I'm expecting right? December 17th is the official due date (It's a boy),and I'm planning for an all natural (no epidural, no IV, blahblahblah) VBAC. (Vaginal Birth After Ceserean Section). Immediatly following I will be FIXED and done creating babies!:)

6. I'm currently starting a weight loss journey to help enable me to live a healthier and more active life with my children. You can read about it here.

7. If, and only IF, I have my successful VBAC I also plan to become a Doula!

Niche Websites

I've wanted to start drawing income from different sources for a while now, I've simply lacked the time and motivation to get going. However I finally set up my first 3 niche websites tonight, and my goal is to create at least 3 new niche websites a week. Realistically I could set up many more than this, however I also need to devote proper time to getting traffic to the sites. For the month of October, my first goal is to simply make the money I invest into the sites back, and to go from there.

Niche websites are a wonderful way to create passive income, because once you have your site up, you can pretty much leave it at that. As long as you have a good topic that generates leads you will be set.

I purchase my domains from 1&1, a.) because I have a long history with them, trust them, etc. but mostly because of b.)their domains are only $2.99 each for a year! Thats an incredible deal.

It was a fun suprise to wake up to in my inbox! Thanks Jackie, you know I think you're fabulous.

Also, I need to write about coupons and frugal grocery shopping. I like to buy my groceries on Sundays, going through the week and seeing what I need. It usually happens that every other Sunday is big grocery week (i.e. stocking up) and little grocery week (getting re-stock essentials like milk, bread, etc.) However, if there's a really great sale, I will shop inbetween. Like today. I purchased 20 (I know, thats a lot for a family of 3.5 people that will last us at least 6 months if not more...) boxes of brand name cereals, 2 pillsbury ready to bake cookie sheets,a flakey croissant cinnabon pillsbury roll and a half gallon of milk for $20. The store I shopped at (Albertsons) was having a fantastic sale, I had a ton of coupons, and it was just a happy day.

My husband absolutly loves cold cereal, he would eat it all 3 meals if he could, so this is a fun thing for him because we usually don't splurge on cereal. As well, his little brother is coming home today from an LDS mission in Brasil so the cookies will serve well at the party...(I'm not good at being domestic, so homemade cookies is out of the question. Plus for $1 these are almost as cheap if not cheaper than homemade cookies, and eatible!)

So in additon to earning money online, I suggest looking for ways to cut back on money spending as well! Best of Luck!

I'm curious, what do YOU do to earn money online?

On the days I'm at school I usually head over to campus about 3 hours early, and sit and focus on completeing surveys on Cash Crate or Raining Riches (At least, these are the I've been focusing on lately...) That usually gives me about $20-$30 twice a week from my own work. The rest of the week, on the days I choose to do anything (which, again I won't lie, isn't often..) I focus on getting traffic & referrals. One of things I love most about GPT websites, is that you can sit back and relax and still have earnings come in from referrals.

I was excited to see I had received 2 bonus' from Associated Content from having referrals write an article. I was unaware that by referring people you received a bonus, so in addition to my love for Associated Content because they pay so well for exclusive, and even non-exclusive articles, performance bonuses, etc. they now top the charts for paying referral bonuses. I haven't written many articles in a long while. My goal for August was to complete at least 1 article a day, however that did not happen, and it seems many of the articles I did complete were not unique enough, so I have been scraping my brain and searching for unique article topics and I think for September I will focus on writing articles.

For those of you unaware of what Associated Content is, it's a website full of articles written by every day people on a wide range (pretty much anything) of topics from Fun ways to Ask Someone to a dance to how to backcomb your hair. :) For every article you submit, depending upon the topic and popularity of already written articles you will get paid a flat amount (anywhere from $4+) and then performance bonus' for how many times people view your articles!

In 15 days in July I managed to make $1200 simply by earning money on GPT sites doing all surveys by myself (no referrals). This month I focused more on referrals and my earnings aren't nearly as high, because I lost a lot of motivation, the family and i moved into a new house, became a victim to some really tragic things, started school, etc. It's funny how all of this has so poorly effected my earnings, so I'm going to aim to earn as much as I can the next few days before the months end to at least double my earnings, and for September set a goal of $1,000 again.

For those of you who have been asking, one of the best ways to get referrals, to earn the most money, and to create the biggest passive revenue you can, is by sticking souly to 2 or 3 websites. The more websites you are a member of, the more likely you will commit fraud (even if by accident) by completing the same survey more than once, or something similar. In addition, you are sending people all over the Internet, instead of allowing them focus one site, so instead of earning a hard passive income you are earning pennies and since many sites have minimal payouts, that does you no good.

My favorite 3 websites that I stick to because I know they work, I know they pay, and theres nothing negative if you search for it, are

1. Cash Crate
2. Your Actions Pay
3. Cash Lagoon

I stick to those, because like I said the above reasons, in addition to what they provide me as a earner... such as Cash Lagoon offering instant payouts, Your Actions Pay providing bonuses left and right, and Cash Crate because of longevity.

I am a member on some other sites, such as Treasure Trooper and , but I don't focus on those, Treasure Trooper because there is problems left and right with their servors, payouts, etc. which I'm sure many of you have experienced, and Fusion Cash I just like to earn some cash myself. :)

School starts on Monday, and thankfully this is my last semester. I say thankfully for numerous reasons. One, being that I will have 2 kids as of mid-December, daycare would cost an arm and a leg for me to attend school. Second, tuition at my university (the University of Utah) has risen drastically and is costing me $3300 this semester, plus textbooks, a $120 parking pass, etc. AH! :(

Though, in light of that, I've spent the past couple of days focusing on referrals, which has really returned high yeilding rewards. Like several payouts from Cash Lagoon simply from referrals earnings.

I've managed to figure out some new tricks to getting referrals easily and site traffic that is more than quadrupeled in the past few days. My goal til Monday is to work on keeping up with the referrals, so I can focus on school more and online work less once classes start, as well as building my first Niche websites!

Isn't it funny how life can get in the way sometimes? I've been busy with my gorgeous 18 month old daughter, preparing for a son on the way!, and moving.. I hate moving, but alas it must be done. My husband and I are finally getting away for a much needed 'date night' tonight, and I couldn't be more excited. Through all of this however, I have slummed on being productive in my online work.

I was fortunate enough to interview Jody, the administrator of Fairway Cash, a really wonderful GPT (get paid to) website that pays you in gift cards!

1. What got you first started in the Get Paid To industry? Honestly, it was total curiosity that such an industry could exist without my knowing about it all these years :-) I first discovered the world of GPT in January 2007, so not too long ago. I'm a super-organized person, so it was relatively easy for me to really get "into" it...plus the added personality characteristics of being a "product junkie" and an avid reader (the book clubs have been my favorites) don't help!

2. Do you think a person could make a living through GPT websites? Why or why not? Well, that depends on what standard-of-living one subscribes to. If you're a college student just needing some extra spending money, then yes, but for a normal productive member of society, no. In order for the GPT industry to remain alive, it's imperative that each and every user make *absolutely sure* that they use their own legitimate information and that they don't ever repeat an offer. Playing by those rules, there simply aren't enough new offers on a monthly basis to sustain a monthly income of more than a few hundred dollars....which I presume (for me at least) isn't not enough to "live" on!

3. What made you decide to start Fairway Cash? I'm actually a business executive on-leave from my current company, and this is one of my many ventures!

4. How is Fairway Cash different than other GPT websites? Well first and foremost, we've got a pretty hefty set of terms & conditions, and we don't pay cold, hard, cash. Traffic && Referrals

One of the easiest ways to make money on GPT websites, obviously, is referrals. I have not mastered this like many people; I see peoples blogs I read that are making thousands a month simply from referrals, so I know if they can do it, I can do it, and thus you can do it.

So lets start a Cash Crate trend. If you don't already have a Cash Crate account, I would encourage you to sign up here ; then after making a minimum ( $10, since thats their payout requirement) encourage 10 of your friends to make $10 on Cash Crate.

As simple as that may be, you are earning $1 for each friend that you get to sign up plus 10% of their income, so you will be $11.00 richer just from those 10 friends. If they repeated the trend, this could get fun for all!

Since starting my goal just Monday (7/16/2007) I have already made the following earnings:

Thus, all together thats $290 towards my debt goal, which is not including a $111.13 that I had received this week from the prior month (June). If I was to continue at this pace I'd be making slightly less than $10/hour if I was to be working 40 hours a week (which I most certainly work less than...) As well, this is all money I have myself earned personally not from referrals. In addition to, I am a full time college student, and a mother! So this proves how feasible this all is!

I feel good, what a great start to my goal of becoming debt free!

Fusion Cash

Fusion Cash is a wonderful site, with a ton of offers, that improve instantly. You can get paid by a check, paypal,or even DIRECT DEPOSIT!. That's something no other GPT website offers.

The only downfall about Fusion Cash is that you don't earn money from referrals like you do on the other GPT websites that I've discussed. However, if you don't plan to get referrals, Fusion Cash is the best site for you - with the highest pay outs, most offers, best options to get paid, etc.

Another wonderful thing about Fusion Cash? You don't have to hit "Submit" Or "Done" after each offer, it automatically keeps track for you, which is soooo nice.

I think I have discovered my new favorite GPT (Get Paid To) Website... Don't get me wrong, I love Your Actions Pay, but this new one, Cash Lagoon, allows you to request payments as soon as you have reached $2, you can request multiple payments a day if you chose to!, there are a TON of 100%free surveys, etc.

-Main Way of Earning: Completing offers
-Requirements: Live in the United States/Complete offers in United States; Canadian members.
-Referral Levels: 1st level: 15%
-Minimum Payout: $2 by Pay Pal, $25 prepaid Visa card ($2 fee), $10 check ($1 fee)
-Payment Options: Pay Pal, check, gift card
-Proof of Earnings: None on site, but by searching for it on Internet there is proof.
-Contests/Bonuses: "The only site with payouts in 24 hours with very low minimums." Many offers do not require a credit card to earn, claim to be able to earn $30 in under one hour with just free offers.
-Other Stats: You are getting paid free cash due to the sponsors advertising on the site.
-Navigation: From the main welcome page, you can easily see your earnings, and the last time you logged in, etc. On this page are also descriptions of the pages for you to access. The first website I chose to do a “How To” guide for was Your Actions Pay, simply because it is my favorite GPT (Get Paid To) website out there.

How Does YAP (Your Actions Pay) Work?

Similar to other GPT websites, YAP has a list of surveys for you the member to complete, sign up for, etc. After completion of each one, unlike other GPT sites, it automatically logs that you have completed the survey (unlike CashCrate or TreasureTrooper for example where you have to hit “done” after each survey that you have completed.)
Unlike other GPT websites, what makes YAP my absolute favorite, is

YAP Shares

YAP Shares are something unique to Your Actions Pay, that no other website has. After completing each survey, you get a “YAP Share” card to scratch off that is worth anywhere between 100 and 5,000 “YAP Shares”. In addition to the money you earn from completing surveys, at the end of the month all of your YAP Shares are calculated against other members YAP Shares and you earn a share from Your Actions Pay's website!
My first month on Your Actions Pay, I earned $206.44 from YAP Shares alone!

The Goal

I am approximately $30,000 in debt. After reviewing Amy Bass's web blog, I realized how possible paying off this debt was and have become encouraged to do so myself. Amy gave herself 2 years to pay off $73,000 worth of debt, likely I suppose I could cut that time in half since my approximate debt is half, but realistically I have chosen to give myself a 2 year limit as well;

Thus, my goal is to be completely debt free by July 2009.

I have a been an avid GPT (Get Paid To) worker for about 2 years now, with ranges of $500+ in earnings a month, however I hope from active work that I can plan to double or triple that income each month, if not more, as well as by adding other sources of income with hopes that all of the extra financial income I earn can go to paying off my debt.
